Power Showers

Power showers 'power' the water via a pump, to increase water flow when mains pressure is low (for example, a gravity system, where water stored in the roof tank flows through the mains by means of gravitational pull).

Power showers are also available with thermostatic valves for increased control over temperature.

Electric Showers

Electric showers run off the cold water mains. heating the water to the desired temperature as the water flows through. Electric showers have the advantage of remaining unaffected in temperature by other sources in the home, but are generally not as powerful in terms of water flow as power showers.
